Inspired MindsThis is a brand new page on the Educationsense site and I would be delighted to receive further material for this section from home educating families.

Please contact me if you would like to make a contribution; I also welcome new documents for my Articles Pages.

I already have quite a few contributions on my hard drive, and will add more to this section as soon as I can. If you also have anything lurking on your computer, or on paper, that you did ages ago, forgot about, and just remembered again(!), why not send it in for inclusion here?

The more the merrier!

Educationsense Poem by Hannah (and her Mum)

This wonderful poem was written by Hannah on her return from The Educationsense Gathering 2002.

We've been to Ed Sense camp
every day was lots of fun
we hope to go again next year
and hope that you can come

enchanted and magical
witches, broomsticks, hats
Harry Potter quizzes, Hedwig instead of bats

we flubbered and we painted
we sellotaped and glued
we coloured-in and cut things
whilst the grown-ups cooked the food

we searched for moths and mushrooms
we walked the camp by candlelight
and shouted `we don't go to school'
its echoes filled the night
two that jumped the broomstick
toddler shouting boobies now
little boy with furry feet
birthday girl dressed as an owl

wizards and witches twirled the camp
we had a dragon too
there were fairies, knights and goblins
wands and laughter all day through

the nights were cold and damp
but the peoples' hearts were warm
forget about frozen toes
a new camp has been born!

next year we'll do July
best wishes and goodbye
