Educationsense Camp - Workshops, group talks, home education merchandise, and a lot of friends having fun!
The idea of the virtual Camp was that a member of your family checked to see what we were up to each day, and then you worked out something similar you could do together at home. Each day, I suggested some adapted activities you might want to try out with your family and friends. If you see something you like now, why not give it a go!

Monday

10-11am
At the Camp: Morning Meeting
At Home: Why not have a family meeting to discuss what you're all going to do today?
11am-1pm

At the Camp: Craft Activities with Jenna
At Home: Jenna will be making a "Cup and Ball" game.  There is a wealth of things to make on the Internet.  You could look for something with a search engine, or come up with your own ideas from scratch.
11am-1pm

At the Camp: Jamming For The Terrified with The Minstrel
At Home: Dust off your musical instrument, and get your family playing music together for a few hours.  If it's not practical for you to play together, put on your favourite tape and play along.  It's pretty much that simple.
2-5pm

At the Camp: The World of Harry Potter with Lyn and Lucy
At Home: Dress up, make wands and hats, design your own headed notepaper and write letters with a quill.  Immerse yourself in this brilliant fantasy world of magic and let your own eccentricities burst forth!
7-8pm
At the Camp: Story Time
At Home: Read a story to your children or, better still make one up between you. If the inspiration doesn't come, remember a great day you had together, or talk about life when they were babies.
8pm onwards
At the Camp: Jamming
At Home: Whether you have drums, guitars and flutes, or saucepans, boxes with elastic bands stretched over, and glass bottles, why not play a few tunes after your evening meal tonight?!!
Morse Code

Virtual Telegrams sent from those at home, to the campers in Magicland.

Post box

The attendees were able to send virtual Postcards from the real Camp to those joining us on the website from home.  Did they Wish You Were Here, or Wish They Were With You?!!

Newspaper

Sit down with a cup of herbal tea and read Monday's edition of The Magicland Gazette, our Camp newsletter.  It may be old news, but it's no fish and chips wrapper!

Isabel
Take a look at the pictures in The Gallery.  Nearly all of them were taken by the younger members of our community.

Comment of the Day
An unnamed parent said:

"I desperately need the toilet, but I'm too interested in what's going on!"
