"We have nothing to lose except our clutter!"
This is Week One of the de-cluttering programme. At the end of the week, you can join in with the rest of the group, regardless of the week number they are following. If you would like to have future Plans mailed to you every Monday morning, please set your preferences here.
Don't forget to delete your e-mail from last week. Your HE Clutter list folder should be empty apart from this e-mail! If you have kept anything
else, tell me what it is, and I will put it on the website and you will be able to bookmark it instead... Also, don't forget to write your journals
(even a one-liner is fine), as I will have the diary system online soon. The theme for this week is: "Preparation" This week we are going to find out who in the household wants to help out, what needs doing, and how you feel about the whole idea of de-cluttering your house and/or your life. Remember, when you are prioritising items/ideas, there is a difference between 'urgent' and 'important'. Think about what this means to you. I suggest you pick a specific day of the week to:
You may sometimes think that you could have achieved more in one week, but don't assume this
means that the programme isn't going at your pace. If you find you have achieved everything I mentioned for a particular week, find a way of adapting the
same theme somewhere else in your home. We have to go slowly, because you have other things going on in your life and if you have a few days where
you feel overwhelmed, you may well decide to ditch the de-clutter programme first. This is why we are going to take it slow. Also, the key to continued success is to get into the habit of doing it, not to have a de-cluttering frenzy several times a year! You don't have to do any de-cluttering this week, unless you feel motivated to.
From next week, you can either access the Weekly Plan via this website, or you
can have the Plans e-mailed to you every Monday
morning. As always, I welcome your feedback because it helps me to come up
with new ideas and solutions for you. Good luck everyone, and DO try this at home! Wendy. Now select your group from the list, and read the exercise specific to your needs...
Choosing a Group Please select your Group from the list above, and press the 'Go!' button. If you are not sure which group to join, start with Group One and move to the next group if it doesn't address your needs. If you need some help, please feel free to contact us with your query. |
